4‑Benzoylphenyl Methacrylate (4‑MBP) is a multifunctional methacrylate monomer containing a benzophenone group. It acts as a reactive UV photoinitiator, which can copolymerize with (meth)acrylates and be covalently bonded into the polymer chain under UV irradiation.

It is mainly used in UV‑curable coatings, inks, adhesives, 3D printing resins and functional polymers. It provides improved curing efficiency, hardness, adhesion, weatherability and chemical resistance, and is widely used in electronics, automotive, printing, packaging and optical materials.
