Recently, the fine epoxy intermediate N-(2-methylphenyl)-N-(oxiranylmethyl)oxiranemethanamine (CAS: 40027-50-7, alias N,N-diglycidyl-o-toluidine) has undergone process optimization and achieved stable -highpurity supply. It provides high-quality raw material options for epoxy resin curing, electronic encapsulation and polymer synthesis research.
This compound has a molecular formula of C₁₃H₁₇NO₂ and a molecular weight of 219.28. Featuring two reactive epoxy groups in its molecular structure, it exhibits excellent reactivity and participates in ring-opening polymerization. It is an important aromatic amine-based diglycidyl intermediate. In the past, this product was mostly available in small-batch laboratory-grade quantities. Industrial-scale purity and batch-to-batch stability have long been industry pain points.
The optimized manufacturing process effectively suppresses by-product formation with a typical supply purity of over 98 % and minimal batch-to-batch variation.
